The concert at St Gabriel’s Church, Pimlico, interweaves two themes, with pieces that reflect the season mixed with works that featured in a Garland for Linda, commissioned by Stephen Connock on behalf of the Garland Appeal to raise money for cancer charities in memory of Linda McCartney, which the JCS premiered and recorded around the turn of the Millenium. JCS is also pleased to welcome back Ivan Rodriguez Deb as cellist for the flight of the swan and to accompany two of John Rutter’s Birthday Madrigals.
